Description

This one is simple, grab your cocktail shaker, fill it halfway with ice, and toss everything in. Shake it hard for about 15 seconds until it’s properly chilled, then strain into your cocktail glass.  That’s it. No fancy technique, no obscure equipment, just good ingredients and a solid shake.


Ingredients

  • 1 ounce dark rum
  • 2 tsp white creme de menthe
  • 1/2 oz 151o proof rum
  • 1/2 oz dark creme de cacao
  • 1/2 oz light creame
  • Ice cubes

Instructions

  • Fill a cocktail shaker halfway with ice cubes.
  • Add the dark rum, white crème de menthe, 151° proof rum, dark crème de cacao, and light cream.
  • Shake well until thoroughly chilled (about 15 seconds).
  • Strain into a cocktail glass.
  • Serve immediately and enjoy.

Notes

Tip: For a little extra flair, dust the top with a pinch of grated dark chocolate or add a fresh mint leaf as garnish. It takes 10 seconds and looks incredible.
